Please Read Carefully: This Is A Final Contract
Use of PrintCharming.com constitutes de-facto binding agreement to the terms disclosed below. These terms remain in effect and will not be dissolved in the event that the client fails to review or understand them prior to placing an order. Clients and Print Charming are both held to the terms of our policy as outlined below.
Your cooperation in submitting ALL information regarding your job order (size, colors, copy, design specifications) to Print Charming as soon and thoroughly as possible will aid us in processing your order in a timely, professional manner. Failure to do so may delay completion of your job. Our estimated turnaround and shipping times are disclosed on order pages as well as our detailed turnaround time page. Standard production times are estimates, not guarantees, and Print Charming will not be at fault should actual production time exceed estimated production time, nor will Print Charming offer restitution for standard jobs that arrive past a client’s desired “deadline” due to production time exceeding estimates or expectations, Jobs ordered with rush service are eligible for a refund of the rush service fee ONLY; printing costs cannot be refunded once the job has been sent to production.
In order to handle the large volume of orders that Print Charming processes on a daily basis, Print Charming uses an automated web to print system. Customers will receive automated email updates with the status of their jobs. Customers will not receive status-update phone calls. Please add printcharming.com to your spam filter so that you make take advantage of these updates. If you are not able to receive your emails you can also check your job status online under "view open orders.” Print Charming will maintain records confirming that such emails are sent in a timely fashion and is not responsible for any issues that may arise from the client not consulting these emails for up-to-date order status.
Once a job has been plated and or sent to print the order cannot be cancelled/refunded. Print Charming can only refund shipping costs on a job that has been plated.
Customers must proof work designed by Print Charming. Jobs will NOT go to print until Print Charming receives written confirmation that the design has been approved (an email stating, “DESIGN APPROVED,” will suffice). Print Charming cannot assume responsibility for spelling errors or missing or incorrect information that the client fails to submit or correct during proofing. Design fees are non-refundable regardless of whether the design is used or not. Design services will not be rendered until payment is received in full. Should you elect not to print a design created by Print Charming, you are only eligible for a refund of printing and shipping costs. All designs created by Print Charming are copyrighted and can only be reproduced with Print Charming’s approval. Any reproduction without Print Charming’s approval will be subject to fines per copyright law. Fees for the authorization of printing Print Charming artwork elsewhere will be at Print Charming’s discretion. Print Charming extends ONE (1) FREE text charge per job we design. Each additional change to the artwork or text will cost an additional $75 per hour. Fees for changing the artwork must be paid prior to changes being made.
Please understand that the design/print production process is as much an art as it is a science. Occasionally there will be delays due to technical malfunctions, equipment failure, or file problems. Print Charming will make every effort to keep these events from affecting production and / or delivery of orders.
To provide clients with the significant price discounts we offer, we produce our product in a “gang run” format. This means that our presses balance and normalize color output across a large sheet of paper with many jobs that print together. Print Charming will make every effort to produce a reasonable representation based on client-supplied materials, but be aware that we do not guarantee color matching or image quality. Due to the nature of gang run printing it is standard that the color and brightness of images may shift up to 15% during printing. If you are a photographer or other imaging professional looking for highly accurate, color-matched reproductions or representations of your work, our gang run printed products may not be for you. If you are concerned about color matching, please give us a call prior to placing your order so we can advise on design considerations or recommend a custom product that may better fit your needs. In addition, files submitted digitally that do not follow our specifications are not eligible for reprinting or a refund should you be unhappy with the print results.
PRINT CHARMING WILL PRINT YOUR FILES AS-IS. Poor quality files will result in poor output. Print Charming will not critique artwork submitted through our automatic order system; files that are of poor quality, low resolution, or incorrectly formatted will result in a poor printing output. Print Charming will not be responsible for designer errors, including files sent without room left for cutting. Gang run production requires 1/8 inch – ¼ inch to be cut off each edge of every print product. Anything that cannot be trimmed needs to be at least 1/8 – ¼ inch from all edges of the card. Our design and bleed requirements are detailed on our file guidelines page, and you are provided a preview of your at-risk area during the order process. We do not recommend the use of borders or fine design elements close to the edge of your files.
PLEASE give us a call if you have any questions concerning our file guidelines so that we may review your files and help you prior to submitting your files for print. We would be happy to assist you before the order is placed; once the order is in production, we will be unable to assist you.
We stand behind our work. If you are unhappy with the quality of the printing or cutting, Print Charming will be happy to discuss possible resolutions, depending on the nature and cause of the unsatisfactory result. Print Charming may request a 5" stack of the printed piece in question for review should you seek a resolution. Physical review may be necessary to determine several important factors relating to the production of your job. Print Charming will not pay for return shipping of these samples. Without samples of the printed piece in question, Print Charming is unable to issue credits or refunds.
Production and delivery times are not contractual. If your item is time sensitive, plan well in advance, or contact us prior to placing your order so we can advise you as to your options. There will be no refunds for jobs that do not arrive by your “deadline.” Jobs will be shipped per the method chosen on your original invoice unless you choose to pay for a shipping upgrade after placing your order. Carriers may require your signature upon delivery; this is at their discretion and not in Print Charming’s control. If you are unavailable to receive the shipment at the shipping address you provided when placing your order, it is your responsibility to call the shipping company and arrange for pickup at their location. Print Charming is not responsible for missed deliveries due to a carrier requiring a signature. Shipments returned to Print Charming will not be refunded and additional shipping costs may be required prior to reshipping your package.
Flyers sent via Air Cargo Services will be shipped to the airport indicated by client on the Print Charming ORDER FORM provided cargo service is available at that airport. If you do not specify your preferred airport, your job will ship to the closest cargo facility to your SHIP TO zip code and must be picked up there. Due to FAA guidelines, DELTA AND SOUTHWEST REQUIRE YOU TO PRESENT PROPER ID and the AIRWAY BILL NUMBER upon retrieving your package. Declining to pick up your package at the airport does not nullify the order placed with Print Charming, and you will still be charged; you will not be refunded. Packages left at the airport for over seven (7) days are subject to storage fees; Print Charming assumes no financial or administrative responsibility for these fees and policies.
Print Charming will not be responsible for missing or damaged shipments. All claims must be made with the carrier in question, and Print Charming will provide any necessary documentation or assistance you may require to complete this claim.
If you plan on using your piece for mailing, please allow room for overruns and under runs of up to 10% either way. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE EXACT COUNT. Please choose your desired quantity accordingly and consider ordering at least 10% more than what you require for your campaign.
Once an order has been placed on our website, a 15% administrative fee will be assessed on all jobs canceled with Print Charming. Customers also have an option of a full in house credit (not including any design fees) to be used toward future jobs should they wish to cancel. Refunds and credits back to credit cards are done in batches and could take up to 14 business days in house. Credits back to your credit card could take as long as 3 billing cycles to appear on your statement depending on the issuing bank. Refunds and credits requested over sixty days past the order date may have to be issued via check and may take longer.
Print Charming feels it is critical to respect the intellectual property of others. To that end, when you use our site, you acknowledge that you hold the full rights to use all copy and images for your printed piece without violating the intellectual property rights of any other party. By using our site, you also recognize that subject matter does not need to include a copyright notice in order to be protected by copyright law. Absence of copyright notice does not give you the right to reproduce the material. By using our site, you are assuring us that copyright notice has not been removed from any of the materials supplied to us for printing.
You agree to protect and hold harmless printcharming.com (and our subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, agents, business partners, and/or employees) from any claim or demand (including attorneys’ fees) made by any third party due to or arising out of a project produced for you through our site.
